UNRATED EDITION!
Saving Sean by Kevin Moore t-th-6
Sean Ingwaldson had been my best friend all the way through elementary school. High school too. We always stuck together. He lied-I lied, he laughed-I laughed, he cried-I’d cheer him up. It wasn’t until the end of high school that we took our separate ways. He became a Spec-ops Military Personnel for the United States Army Marine Core and I became an agent in Britain at the School of Advanced Agents. Sean was fighting in Japan while I was stuck back in my boring agent school being trained. I’d never been in combat with Japan in the war so far, but I knew I would see some awesome action. Soon I'd be “light’n someone up”.

It was a slow morning in camp as I stumbled out of bed at the sound of the ear piercing alarm. I was eating breakfast in the mess hall as I observed an agent writing things on the mission board. He moved out of the way and I nearly choked on my eggs. “It couldn’t be!” I exclaimed. The board read rescue mission-Stackhouse-solo mission in Japan jungle. "That’s me-Stackhouse-solo rescue mission in a jungle in Japan…Yes!” I shouted with great joy, out of here at last. After breakfast I packed up and left to the Command Room. My commander gave me my instructions and gave me weapons I would have never thought of…Lasers, disintegrators, carbon grenades, plasma rifles; I knew this would be a hard mission. I gathered my weapons and my gear and climbed into the Jumbo Jet airplane that was ordered to drop me in Japan. The plane heaved its massive body into the air and we were air borne. It took a while, but I was finally dropped deep in the lush jungle of Japan...

I knew where I was and knew what I had to do…save Sean. “Sean sounds so familiar”I whispered to my self pondering about the mysterious name. Finally I figured out who the name belonged to as I admired a butterfly gently floating by. "Sean, my long lost friend from school. Oh my gosh…”I said in shock. Sean-my best friend from school captured by-“hwaaa!” ninjas pounced out from bushes all around me. I thought fast and drop kicked one in the in the jaw, it broke. I pulled out my disinigrateor and managed to disintegrate two of the ninjas, instantly turning to a pile of ashes. I watched three escape as I dodged two more attackers. I took out some stun grenades and stund them. One ninja took out a samari sword and began to strike wildly while he was blinded. As I approached him to finish him, he swung his heavy sword and cut my arm. I screamed in pain as I knocked his legs out from under him and body slammed him; breaking his ribs and knocking him unconsious. The other one had just gotten his eyesight back when I kicked him so hard that it caused instant death. The battle had been finished.

I began my journey as my satellite GPS told be the way. Around the dark and massive trees , through the damp thick bushes, over ancient structures from World War 2 I went to rescue Sean. I finally came to objective three, the cave, as I sat down to rest. Guzzling down my water. So good, so pure, so-“chk chk-boom boom boom boom”. Plasma bullets whizzed through the air as I dove behind what looked to be like a medieval torture table. I peaked over and must have saw at least 50 rebel warriors. I knew I needed help. “Bravo Fire Team Two, I need back up at 079352 north, 51204730 west, over” I shouted into my radio. “Roger, were on our way” replied a helicopter pilot. Helicopters looked like they fell out of the sky as soldiers from Sean's same division piled out, one after another. It seemed as if there were only 10 soldiers coming, but there were actually 30. We were badly outnumbered so, I did what any other command would have said. “Try to flank them” I shouted over the gun fire. The soldiers moved to the left and right as I gave them cover with my laser gun. They managed to “waste” what looked like seven rebel soldiers. Still, there were more. While I gave them covering fire, one of the rebels caught on to our formation and instantly, opened fire fully automatic at me with his machine gun. One of the bullets shot through the stucture I was behind and sliced my skin open on my shoulder. I was still alive but I was in pain. My shoulder was covered in blood, and I was loosing a fiar amount of blood.I dove into the line of fire as I shot my laser gun, hitting a rebel every shot. I dove back behind cover while my gun was disintigrated by the plasma bullets from the rebels. I knew I probly couldn't fight the unforgiving rebels with bullets, so I grabbed my grenades. As I chucked my carbon grenades into the air, I noticed shiny objects slightly covered by leaves. Mines. I saw the rebel on the other side setting more up with his detonator about a hundred yards away. I took out my 57 pound sniper and fed it with the 1.20 caliber bullets I had received. I aimed and-boom, fshhhhhhh! The bullet traveled through the man a hit the forest behind him. The whole forest behind the man caught on fire, engulfing the rebels in flames. The rest of the rebels tried to run, but the mines went off and they were flung through the air.

The firing stopped and I entered the cave. I heard girly screaming and instantly, I knew it was Sean. Desperate, I ran with my plasma rifle hurdling over sharp rocks still loosing blood. As I approached I heard: “Sean Ingwaldson, Delta Fire Team Four, sent to capture enemy intelligence.” Obviously Sean was talking. Smack! “Who sent you here?” Obviously an evil rebel leader. I walked up to a cliff and looked down when I saw a uniformed man hitting Sean. He took out a knife to kill Sean, who was now useless because he was bruised and cut. “Nooo!” I lifted my rifle as I pierced the rebels heart with a hot beam of plasma. I repelled from the cliff down to Sean. “I’ve got him, take us home” I said into the radio. “Roger that Stackhouse” said the pilot.
We walked to the landing site over the lifeless bodies. One was alive. He raised his pistol to shoot when I turned around and shot him with my M60 auto. We saw the helicopter over head. We boarded the helicopter and went back to America. I was put in the hospital and the nurses wrapped my arm up; they said I'd be fine. The next night I was awarded two medals, one was purple heart for getting injured and the other one was a star shaped medel for and one for saving Sean. I thanked everyone and went back to camp. Another boring day yet to come.
